When using the Data Leaders website and associated platforms, you may be asked to share:

- Billing information where required to complete a financial transaction

Our Data Processors

In all cases, the servers where your information is stored and processed are either located in the European Economic Area or in the United States under appropriate safeguarding arrangements, with updated certification.

Our data retention policy
We will remove any information which we have collected directly from you from our systems if we have not had any meaningful interaction with you for more than 36 months unless stated otherwise stated within a commercial contract.
For any financial transactions we have a statutory obligation to retain the information for 7 years for financial reporting and auditing purposes.

Our legal basis for processing your information
Where we have a commercial agreement in place or you or your employer have made a purchase of a Data Leaders product or service, our processing will be under the basis of “contractual obligation” meaning we need to use your information to deliver the product or service.
When we are communicating with you regarding products and services you may be interested in receiving from us or our clients in the future, our basis for processing is our legitimate interest. As we are communicating with you in the context of your corporate activity and identity and not in relation to your private life, we believe this to be reasonable and fair behaviour in the context of our community and services. This is why we always request corporate contact information rather than personal. Where we request corporate contact information, we will treat the details provided as such.
You will always have the right to object and remove your information by following the steps below.
Opting out or removing your information
Should you wish to not receive information from us in future then you can quickly action this by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email communication from us. Or you can request this by sending an email to privacy@dataleaders.net and we will quickly suppress your data.
Should you further wish for us to remove your information entirely (and assuming we have no other obligation to keep it) then please let us know and we will do this – but we would encourage you to let us use it for suppression purposes only.

Third party websites
There will be links on our website to third party platforms. This privacy policy does not cover how the owners of those platforms use your information. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit.
Sale of business
Should Data Leaders be sold or merged with another organisation, your information is likely to form part of that transaction and may be disclosed to the new owners and their advisers. It is intended that any consent given across Data Leaders websites and platforms, or legitimate interest ascertained, will benefit the new owners of the business.
